Merlin arrived at the sanctuary on 20th March 1999 after Berkhamsted police found Merlin roaming the streets of Berkhamsted. Merlin had to be kept for 28 days to allow anybody to claim him. He, then became a member of the sanctuary, Merlin was generally in good condition but his feet had been neglected for sometime and, being a jack donkey, has been gelded. Merlin is very loving and loves lots of cuddles.
